What a day!!!
What a fun, tiring and exciting day!!!!!! I can't believe what a hectic two days - and a night - I have had. My hectic day began when I was getting ready for bed on a Thursday night. I walked out with a clean pair of PJ's and my mom said they did not fit me any more. I went and changed my PJ's and put one of my favorite pajamas in the St.Vincent De Paul bag for Sunday. When I came out again, my mom said the pajamas I was wearing now did not fit me either so I did the same routine as for the other PJ's. When I came out again mom said that the ones I was wearing now did not fit me either and this continued for two more pairs. So in total, I got rid of five pajamas! I now only have three summer pajamas. Mom said we would look through the bags of clothes my cousin gave to me and see if it had any pajamas in it. I was still sad that I lost my other pajamas but there is nothing I can do about. I am just a growing girl mom says. The next day began too early. Lana woke me up. I guess she wanted attention from me so she came into my room and when she saw me sleeping and not petting her, she bit me on the nose and meowed very loudly into my ear. I woke up disoriented, grumpy and hungry. I looked at the microwave and the time said it was 7:00. I ate a quick breakfast of cereal and I got to work. That morning we were working in the house and I was glad because outside it was HOT!!!!! I began working in my room and I cleaned up a lot. It is still a little messy but I will get it cleaned up next Saturday because mom called me to help her in the kitchen and dining room. I was in charge of vacuuming and after we were done I was filthy and gross so I took a shower. After I had gotten dressed I started packing for the sleepover my friends and I planned. It was going to be at Jessica's house and I had a lot to pack because in the morning I was going to archery for a badge in Girl Scouts. The sleepover started at 5:30 and we did a ton of things. When we first got there, we played twister and while we played twister Mrs. Moore and Mr. Moore ( Jessie's parents ) set up a tent in their back yard because we were going to sleep outside. After twister we ate a dinner of macaroni and pigs in a blanket and they were good. At first Mrs. Moore did not know if it was to rain so we thought we were going to go bowling but it cleared up so we went swimming. Jessie has a pool at her house and it was nice. We stayed in the pool until about 10:00 and then we took showers and got ready for bed. Before we went to bed we watched " Freaky Friday and we had brownies. Then we went outside and played with Jessie's dog, Max. He is a HUGE dog but a sweet one too. Then we went in the tent and talked about our summer and school and played games in the tent. Finally we went to bed at about 2:00 in the morning. We woke up at around 7:00 and went inside and ate a breakfast of pancakes which were really good. Mom was coming to pick me up at 8:00 to go to the archery class which started at 9:00. I was tired but I somehow managed to stay awake all through the class. The class was super fun. Our instructor taught us a lot; he taught us about the different kind of arrows, bows, positions and how to shoot it and a bunch of cool stuff. At about an hour and a half before we had to leave we started shooting the arrows at the targets. I mostly stayed in the yellow circle which is pretty good for a beginner. After the class, which finished at 12:00, I went home. When I got home I fell asleep on the couch and my mom caught a picture of Jiggy laying on the couch with me. I guess he missed me since I had not been home in a while and he was glad I was home. When I woke up about a hour later mom told me I had to get ready to go see the 6th Harry Potter!!!! I was going to dress up as Hermione and bring my wand. It was fun dressing up but we could not find a poster of Harry Potter to stand by so we just took it at different places, like in the theater and at home. The movie was my least favorite of all the Harry Potters. I think they changed too much, only the ending was good. I had a great idea to call Rascal Professor McGonagol because she can turn into a tabby cat that looks like Rascal ( see picture below ). When we got home, mom made a delicious dinner of chicken tacos, mmm mmm. Right after dinner I went to bed, I was beyond exhausted and before my head hit the pillow I was sleeping like a rock. What a day!!!

My fourth of July
I had a really nice fourth of July. It was double special and fun I guess because last year for the fourth of July we did not do anything, no parade, no firecrackers, nothing at all. This year we woke up to go to the parade, and we got all dressed up in our patriotic colors and we were on our way. This year the parade was not as good as I had remembered from when I was little. This year there were hardly any floats, mostly just cars and most of the cars were not even decorated they were just plain regular cars that you see passing by on the street. This year we could not bring our dogs. First of all we could have brought Axl but if we brought him we would have to bring Rosie but Rosie does not behave. She will bark at other dogs she sees and try to run away so we did not bring any dogs. :( The good thing was that there was a dog in front of us and he was a cutie so he kind of made up for not bringing a dog. After the parade we went back home and relaxed until it was time to go to Dave's house for firecrackers and food and just to visit each other. Everybody brought food and it was delicious. After my friends, Sydney and Alex, showed me their rooms and their two adorable guinea pigs. The guinea pigs were named Snickerdoodle and Buddy. They were sooo cute!!!. After a little while we started the firecrackers and they were beautiful!!! My favorites were the sparklers. At about eleven the kids went inside for a game of guitar hero. Thankfully some of the kids left early and there were only five of us left so only one person stood out for that song and then we switched. At about twelve we left but the traffic was so bad we got home at about one. I had a really great time but I was busted and we went to bed as soon as we got home. I have to admit this was a really great fourth of July in a while and I still have many more to go.

Bible Camp!!!
I had an really cool two weeks of bible camp. Bible camp is a place where you grow more into the love of Jesus and it is a really awesome thing to do. It is in the summer and you have all these really cool things to do. The helpers are the older kids that run the camp. As you can see in the pictures below the helpers wear the green shirts and the kids wear the nice white shirts. My older brother, Eric was the director for this years camp, - ( Every year Mr. B picks a new director for that years bible camp ) - I was a helper and my little brother, Anthony was a participant on the kids side this year. Since Anthony and I are only one year apart this is my first year as a helper and Anthony's last year to be a participant as a kid. The kids only get one week of bible camp but the helpers get two. See, the helpers do all the decorating, setting up, doing what the kids are doing in the grown-up way the first week and getting ready for the kids to have the time of their lives next week. But the helpers also get a pizza party and water balloon fight on Friday the last day for all of us. First, though, we had to take of the decorations and clean up everything before we celebrate. Each year before you want to participate in bible camp you must fill out forms. The kids forms are different from the older kids forms because you fill out what position you want to do. I signed up to be a crew leader - ( someone who gets a group of kids and take care of them for the week ) - for Pre- K, but I got chosen to do Arts and Crafts for Pre- K. I made a lot of new friends and had a really nice time. This years theme was Crocodile Dock. Every year they have a new theme and I have been in bible camp since it began in our parish and it was a really great experience for me.I can't wait 'till next year!!

My awards ceremony and dreams for next year
I had a really great last week of school. My favorite part of it- ( other than leaving for the summer )- was my awards ceremony. I got a lot of awards and I was really proud of myself for my accomplishments this year. It was kind of a bummer for my class because my teacher- ( Mrs. Ramos )- was not there because her son was getting his tonsils taken out but it was okay. I was nominated for the Pat Harrison award and I did not get it, but my two best friends got it so I was happy for them. My mom says it was a great honor just to get nominated so I was proud of myself. I had a really great ceremony. They even did a slide show of fifth grade pictures from all year and that was cool. Also as of June 9 I am now officially a sixth grader. YAY!!!!!. It is cool how this year - ( 2010 ) - I am graduating. Mom says it's going to be huge because the class of 2010 - ( my class ) - is the first generation of Dual - Language at East Point. I am very excited and I can't wait 'till my last year of elementary starts, though I am not quite ready for summer to end, but I can still expect an awesome year :)

My fun day at the pool
I had a really fun time today at the pool. It was really refreshing because we were working in the house today cleaning up. I got my room half-way done and we worked in the garage also, putting books up and sweeping, but all that work payed off when we went to the pool. When we got to the pool alot of my friends were there and we had a great time just talking, swimming and just having fun. It was sad to go but we still have tomorrow and the rest of the summer to enjoy it. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My ballet recital
Last Saturday I had my ballet recital, I was super excited about it because my whole class has worked really hard this year. This year's song was ( for my class ), the "Fire Waltz" It is a really cool song, I love it. This year Eric's girlfriend came, her name is Katie. I am glad she came because last year when I had my recital Eric made faces at me and I messed up but this year Katie made sure he did not do that to me. ( Thank you Katie ). After my recital we went to Dairy Queen. It was good but just some friendly advice to people who go there alot I suggest you don't get there strawberry shakes they were disgusting. But anyway I had a great time, and I can't wait "till next year!!!!!
